About Me

My name is Becky. I am a HCHD, Hypnobabies Certified Hypno-Doula. This means I have specific training and indepth knowledge of hypnosis in childbirth. I have taken the Hypno-Birthing course as a doula, and am accustomed with their specific cues and scripts. I am also familiar with Bradley and Lamaze. I am currently obtaining my Birthing Doula and Postpartum Doula certification.

I have always loved kids and learning about the human body. I worked at Primary Children's Hospital for six years under my EMT-Intermediate license. While there, I married my best friend and had three amazing but crazy kids. I've been lucky enough to spend most of my time at home with my kids. Each of my children brought me farther along this birthing path. Preparing for my third birth, however, ignited a passion and love that swept me off my feet and carried me along the doula path.

You matter to me. My job is to help you along your birthing and motherhood path. Each woman's path, heart, and desires are different. I will work with you to see what your personal desires are and help you develop a flexible plan. These days women aren't typically offered many choices, but they are available (even in hospitals). My desire to be a doula stems from seeing how much of a difference education and support have made in my own births. There are so many things that I have learned that I wish I had known with my first birth. I love sharing it with other mothers-to-be. I am addicted to birthing. I feel as if it runs through my veins and is at the very center of who I am. I would love to support you at this wonderful time in your life.
